We are situated in the quiet village of Manawaru, which is about half way between Te Aroha and Matamata. Our vision is to create a café where everyone is welcome. It is OUR PLACE, AND YOURS.
We hope you will come by and meet our friendly staff. This is a place where community and belonging is created and fostered.
We have free Wi-Fi so you can check your emails as you enjoy our beautiful view of Mount Te Aroha.
Great Food & Drink
We have a wide range of café food and coffee selections and a comfortable dining area as well as outside seating.
Cool & Warm
We have heaters inside and out so you will always stay warm, and on the hotter days we have sunshades to keep you cool.
We welcome cyclists to make us their pit stop as we offer a wide range of bike racks, an air compressor and bike tool kit.
The factory experience had a local bonding effect. There was humour, information, comradeship as well as news and gossip. It filled a social need. Today the horse has become redundant. Large tankers collect the milk from the farm and quickly disappear to the next farm. Now the farmer has an early morning paper or magazine to read and the radio to give him news. He need seldom meet or even see his neighbours."
